CAIRO, Egypt (5 October 2019) – The first World Taekwondo Coach Certification Course took place from October 3-4, 2019, in Cairo, Egypt.
The course covered a variety of topics, including code of ethics, safeguarding, medical and & emergency care, anti-Doping, and mental health awareness. A total of 223 coaches representing 13 countries participated in the course, including 150 coaches from Egypt and 73 from Arab and African countries.
The opening ceremony included a speech from Mr. Amr Selim, President of the Egypt Taekwondo Federation, where he welcomed all participants and thanked World Taekwondo for their continuous support and patronage.
